E90: Experience of a Furloughed Fundraiser with Emma Russ

Emma Russ is a regional community fundraising manager at the Alzheimer's Society where she manages a team of community fundraisers across the North West of England. She's been a fundraiser for her entire career, starting at Sue Ryder and later moving to a local sight loss charity, Galloway's Society for the Blind. Emma is a committee member for the institute of Fundraising in the North West and is a keen writer, with blogs across Third Sector and civil society.

She shares her experience of being furloughed - a word most of us hadn't heard of until recently. For some, the scheme has allowed employees to spend time with their family and cope with changing demands and for others, it has been difficult to be separated from a charity/cause that means so much to them.
